  • BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTOur Jr. High Back-to-School Night for grades 6 through 8 will be on Wednesday, September 9.  The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall with an overview of the year ahead from Fr. Jay, Mrs. Cluess, and your PTO Board.  Important classroom sessions will follow.

  • OLG RESTAURANT DAY AT CPK:  This Thursday, Sept. 10 at California Pizza Kitchen (18800 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana; from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.)  Enjoy a meal out with family and friends and 20% of your total purchase will be donated back to OLG school!  (A CPK / OLG Restaurant Night flyer must be presented to your server when ordering.)

  • CARNIVAL ENCINO 2015 SPONSORSHIPS & SILENT AUCTION:  Obtain carnival sponsorship letters and/or family donation and silent auction donation sheets by going to our Carnival Encino webpage.  Take these with you the next time you visit your favorite restaurant or shop and ask the proprietors if they might consider sponsoring our carnival or donating a silent auction item.  Thank you for helping to make our carnival a success!

  • FREE FINGERPRINTING DAY:  OLG school parents and parishioners should make their appointments soon to receive FREE fingerprinting on Friday, September 25 in the Parish Hall.  Representatives from the L.A. Archdiocese will be on campus to facilitate free fingerprinting for our school and parish families.  Call Karin at 818-344-4126, ext. 330 to make your appointment soon, as time slots are booking up quickly.  (No fingerprinting will be done without an appointment.)

  • CONGRATULATIONS!: Our eighth grade teacher, Ms. Yerton, was chosen from more than 300 applicants to join other select educators attending a prestigious course at the Library of Congress Summer Teacher Institute in Washington, D.C.!  Read about her exciting and educational adventure in an article that appeared in the July 29 edition of Angelus -- The Tidings Online.
