We will be hosting our next Open House on Sunday, January 26, from 11am – 2pm. Families interested in enrolling their children for the 2020-2021 school year are welcome to attend. Families with little ones interested in TK or Kindergarten should hurry as spaces fill quickly. Please invite your co-workers, friends, and family with school age children. We will offer school tours and more information about our school program. RSVP with the school office today!

OLG’s annual Thanksgiving Can Goods and Turkey Gift Card Drive is in full swing and continues through Friday, November 22. Each family is asked to donate Thanksgiving food items or grocery store gift cards to the drive. These food donations are optional, and we are grateful for any and all participation. Food drive collection boxes will be placed outside classroom doors. Your food donations will be given to the St. Vincent de Paul ministry at the parish who will assemble lovely gift baskets for less fortunate families to enjoy at Thanksgiving.

The list includes all canned and boxed foods that are appropriate for Thanksgiving, including green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, gravy, boxed mashed potatoes, and boxed stuffing mix. We are also asking for gift cards to purchase fresh turkeys for these needy families. Thank you for your generosity!

Our OLG school community will be celebrating a special blessing of animals on the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi on Friday, October 4. The blessing will be held at the start of the school day at 7:50am in the courtyard. Small caged animals (hamsters, birds, etc.) are okay to stay at school for the day. Any cats and dogs should only be brought for the blessing at the start of the morning. Pictures of animals and stuffed animals are okay too.

Join us for a festive evening that will be filled with amazing buffet-style food, live Mariachi music, and great casino-style play, all planned for Friday, September 13, from 6pm-11pm in the parish hall! This wonderful event is hosted by the Development Office. Purchase tickets in the school office or at the front door for the bargain price of $25/person.

Calling all parents and students of OLG! We will be hosting a Meet & Greet on Thursday, August 22, from 3-5pm. Parents are welcome to stop into their child's classroom, drop off school supplies, and meet the various after school vendors that we contract with at OLG. There is no program for the afternoon, so parents can stop in at anytime during that window.

We invite all of our new families who will be joining our community in August to spend the evening with us for our New Parent Orientation! The informative evening is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, from 6-8pm in the school courtyard. The evening begins with a reception followed by a helpful rotation of sessions with our PTO Board, School Office Manager, and School Administration. Learn the ins-and-outs of OLG before you get started in a friendly setting!

We welcome our new TK & Kindergarten families along with our transitioning TK families to Kindergarten on Sunday, May 19, for 9:30 a.m. Mass with a reception to follow in the school courtyard.

Our seventh grade students took off this week for Catalina to enjoy an immersive three-day experience in marine biology and science on the island!
