Mrs. Linda Jackson
Mrs. Jackson has completed a full circle to where she started 21 years ago. After her years in the Ministry Office and as Mrs. Baker’s aide, Mrs. Jackson served as the librarian, second grade teacher, and middle school teacher at Our Lady of Grace. After a nine-year break at St. Genevieve, where she taught fourth grade as well as high school English, she is now with us again as our acting librarian.
Mrs. Jackson earned her undergraduate degree at Hunter College in New York City. Her two credentials (multiple subject and English) as well as a Master of Education were acquired at National University. For fun, she studied at CSUN, to earn a second master’s degree in Educational Administration.
Both of Mrs. Jackson’s children attended Our Lady of Grace. Her daughter attended Louisville High School as well as UC Davis where she majored in environmental policy. Her son attended Notre Dame High School and continued his musical education at USC.
Besides enjoying visual and performing arts, reading (silently or aloud to others) is one of Mrs. Jackson’s passions. She thinks reading is THE most important skill any student should achieve and master.
