Ms. Katherine Gasser

Ms. Gasser is a brand new teacher here at Our Lady of Grace and is excited to join the Lion Family!  She is a recent graduate of Saint Mary's College of California, a private Lasallian school near Oakland, CA where she received both her Bachelors of History and Masters of Education. She is a dedicated Marianist and a follower of the teachings of Saint John the Baptist de La Salle, the founder of the Catholic order of her college. 

 

This is Ms. Gasser's first year of teaching, but she is more than prepared after working in several middle and high schools throughout Oakland, CA, and Pittsburg, CA as a student-teacher.  After 5 long years of study, Ms. Gasser is happy to be back in Southern California where she grew up and prepare the next generation of Catholics to succeed in all their academic goals! 

 

When Ms. Gasser is not teaching, she enjoys spending quality time with her very large family (over 50 first and second cousins!!!)  in a myriad of ways like playing games, watching/playing baseball, and having cookouts. When she is not with her family, you might catch Ms. Gasser getting lost in a good book, knitting blankets, or playing rugby with her friends.
